Leave with the time you have

Start with your fixed constraints, then place sessions that you can actually complete. Five hours a week is five fifty-minute sessions plus a short recovery, not a five-hour block on Sunday evening.

Gives a mission each session

“Review accounting” is too broad to evaluate. “Finish the depreciation study note, process the cards due and take the level 3 quiz” describes a result that you can verify.

Alternates learning and recall

A good week mixes new cards, quiz questions and expired cards. Accumulating only readings creates a memorization debt that is paid off later.

Keep a margin

Plan less than your theoretical maximum. The margin allows you to revisit a difficult concept without derailing the entire week.

Look at regularity, not guilt

Monitoring is used to understand your real pace. A missed day invites you to adjust the goal, not to punish yourself with a four-hour session.
